PEACE 4 TURTLE ISLAND
Haudenosaunee Homework Help Team
The purpose of Peace 4 Turtle Island is to provide culturally sensitive and factual information about the Haudenosaunee also known as the Iroquois, which is composed of the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca, and Tuscarora Nations. Here we hope to offer students a place to write to when they seek answers to their homework and research questions concerning the Haudenosaunee, and to also provide a place where scholars and those interested in learning more about our people can seek answers to their questions.
The Home Work Help Team:
The homework help team is composed of a team of Haudenosaunee who have volunteered their time to answer questions. As time goes on and more Haudenosaunee have access to the Internet, we hope to expand the team. Listed below are some of the present voluntary team:
John Kahionhes Fadden (Akwesasne Mohawk and an owner/operator of the Six Nations Indian Museum) John is a retired school teacher. He is married to Eva and they have two sons David and Dan. John & his son David are artists and you have probably seen their illustrations in books on the Haudenosaunee.
Michael T. Benwell / Wi:se Atonwah (Kahnawake Mohawk)
