YOUR OWN HALL OF FAME |

YOUR OWN HALL OF FAME
Several of
our lacrosse teams
consist of all little boys
And the first thing they
learn
is those sticks are not toys
And to play the Creator's game
you
have to be physically fit
Because there's eager opponents
you must be
ready to outwit
Many of these boys are unaware
of where their skill
came
The only thing they want
is just to play this game
And without
even knowing it
they fit right in a mold
When they can really understand
it
this is what they'll be told
When you hear "go Irving go"
it is an
echo from the past
Their namesakes and grandchildren
will finally know at
last
Everyone will learn about Lyle,
Buffalo, Oren and other players
too
These men showed everybody
just what teamwork could do
The
accomplishments of these men
has been overlooked until today
Because
lacrosse was in their blood
they knew no other way
They decided to follow
their hearts
and play wherever they could
And there is no doubt about
it
they certainly were good
That is the general opinion
of those who
saw them play
Too bad camcorders
were not of their day
What was told or
printed
from all those days gone by
We won't let them be forgotten
on
that you can rely
All the men from Onondaga
who played on several
teams
Were just like these boys now
who want to fulfill their
dreams
It's impossible to name here
all the men who played this game
So
if they're in your mind and heart
then they're in your own "Hall of
Fame"
